WHEN COWS
GET INVOLVED
During the current situation when silaging your grass, problems may arise with the ensilage. With most silage storage, conservation is good to perfect. However, as soon as one opens the storage of the silage, a mould or a temperature rise in the roughage often occurs after 2 to 3 weeks of feeding!
This usually leads to a decrease in the cow’s milk production. A modified product is then fed to the cow, which can be deduced from the silage analysis. The most common problem is that the sugars disappear, which reduces the uptake of the cow!
Do you recognize this problem? Then we would like to help you find the cause and provide a good solution.
